Geronimo was founded by two good friends, Kirsty White and Angie Robison.
Having children ourselves, we were tired of trying to find the perfect place where the children would be safe, could burn off that excessive energy and get their little tummies filled with some healthy food, for a change.

For us Mum's we wanted to grab a decent cup of coffee and of course most importantly find a place where we had the chance to finish an entire sentence with another adult!

So that’s when Geronimo was born. Sat in our local coffee shop, jokingly we said "wouldn’t it be great if we opened our very own Adventure Play Centre." We spent hours visiting other play areas in different parts of the country checking out what was on offer and picking up lots of tips on how to do it and how not to do it.
We spoke to friends and other parents asking them what they would want in a play area and found that they wanted the same as us. Through hard work and sheer determination we feel we’ve got something a little different for you to enjoy.

The rest as they say is history! With the encouragement and support from our friends and family, including the input of our own children we’ve finally made our dream come true.

So what was our goal, what did we really want to achieve?

Exactly this:

An environment where the children could release their imagination, have fun and enjoy the adventure. Play zones that provide limitless exploration and learning. A place that lets parents enjoy being parents without the added pressure of creating fun on their own. Our other goal was to create a quality environment for adults as well as the children. The comfy sofas to kick back and relax on with the latest magazines, daily papers to hand and free WiFi Broadband – obviously still keeping a watchful eye on the young ones.
An area too where Dad's and the older kids can chill out - a plasma for those ever important sport results!! But more important the chance to actually finish and enjoy a good, hot cup of coffee or tea!

So there we have it – Geronimo, a place the kids want to go to and where you want to take them. We hope we have exceeded your expectations and you enjoy the experience each time you visit. We welcome all feedback, the good, bad and even the ugly, because our goal is to make sure we provide a service that keeps you sane and keep coming back for more.
